

Then make sure that the document you are loading meets the machine's requirements before redoing the operation. Press the button to dismiss the error.The document is too long or is jammed in the ADF. When rescanning the document after clearing the error, rescan it from the first page. If the document still jams, use the platen glass instead. In this case, reduce the number of document pages to approximately half of the loading capacity. Note - The document may not feed properly depending on the media type, or your environment, such as when the temperature and humidity are either too high or too low. If the document is jammed in the document output slot, close the document tray as shown in the figure below and pull out the document.Close the document feeder cover and then turn on the machine.Pull out the jammed document from the ADF.Remove any pages other than the jammed page from the ADF, and then open the document feeder cover.If the original gets jammed in the ADF press the button to cancel printing.

Press the button and the machine will feed the document out of the ADF.

If the above solution has not resolved your error, please contact your nearest. Attach the cassettes to the machine, and then press the button.NOTE – When reloading the paper, confirm that you are using the paper suited for printing and are loading it correctly. If the paper is not loaded properly in the cassette, remove the paper and then reload it after aligning the edges of the sheets.If you were not able to remove the paper in step 4 continue below: If you cannot pull out the paper, open the paper output tray. NOTE - Do not touch the inner parts of the machine. Press the button to cancel any print jobs and turn off the machine.

NOTE - The power cannot be turned off while the machine is sending or receiving a fax, or when the received fax or the unsent faxes are stored in the machine's memory. Remove the jammed paper following the procedure below. The paper loaded in the cassette (upper) is jammed.
